A friend's house with a girlfriend while walking in the disaster young.

When he went to a friend's house with his girlfriend, the friend took a video of the youth with four accomplices and locked them in the house.  He threatened to spread that video on social media and extorted 1.5 lakh taka.  In this incident, the victim complained to Tarun police station and the police arrested three people. The incident took place on December 25 in Kadmatoli area of ​​Dhaka.  The young man filed a case against five people at the Kadmatoli police station on December 30.  Those arrested in this case are the victim's friend Arifur Rahman (32), his associate Al Mamun (30) and Saiful Islam (26).  Shahabuddin (25) and Tofazzal (26) are still absconding.


 The victim said that he is a businessman.  Arifur Rahman, who was arrested by the police, is his friend.  On December 25, around 11:30 am, he (victim Tarun) went to visit Ariful's house with his girlfriend.  Then the accused in the case detained them and first videotaped them.  He demanded 10 lakh taka for spreading that video.  They were beaten because they did not agree to pay that money.

 At one stage he agreed to pay two lakhs.  One and a half lakh rupees was immediately paid through an employee of his business establishment.  Later, they were released around four in the afternoon on the condition of paying 50,000 taka. According to the young man, the arrested persons repeatedly called and threatened them on the mobile phone because they did not pay 50,000 taka.  Threatened to spread the girlfriend's video online.  Later he filed a case on December 30.

 The investigating officer of the case, Deputy Inspector (SI) of Kadmatoli police station Kabir Hossain said that three persons were remanded for two days after their arrest in the case.  They admitted to collecting the money.
